About Southfield Food Co-op
Southfield Food Co-op is a Natural Foods buying club. We are a non-profit organization that is owned and operated by our members. The co-op obtains price reductions on the cost of food for our members by collectively purchasing large quantities of food and passing the savings on to our members. Members make up our entire work-force, so they are expected to work at least three hours each time they place an order.
Membership is open to anyone. Annual dues are paid upon joining the co-op. Membership dues cover the period of January 1 through December 31. Members meet at the New Hope Banquet Hall in Southfield Michigan to distribute and pick-up that month's orders. Pick-ups take place once every 4 weeks on Tuesday morning.
